As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, hospital-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the hospital, including entrances, waiting areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance, way finding, and staff escort requests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, unauthorized access concerns, and requests for assistance from clinical teams.
• Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in written reports, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
