Schedule:Part Time | Friday & Saturday |10:00 PM– 6:30AM

Treston Security Services is seeking a professional and attentive Unarmed Security Officer to join our professional security team located in Los Angeles, CA
.

The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, security and smooth daily operations of the property by monitoring the access to the building and ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry.

This position requires strong observation skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle dynamic situations with professionalism and composure.

• Arrive on time for proper shift transition.
• Conduct joint briefings regarding any incident updates or pending tasks.
• Detect and respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Remain visible and alert at all times and maintain proper phone communication with the command center as needed.
• Complete reports, including oral and written briefings, and submit incident reports immediately after any notable event.
• Monitor and secure all doors, gates and access points while ensuring that no tailgating occurs.
• Ensure all visitors provide proper identification and maintain a log of all in and out times.
• Monitor camera systems and document any suspicious activity.
• Maintain clear, professional and accurate documentation at all times.
• Handle packages in accordance with Treston Security Services post orders.
• Communicate appropriately with staff and principals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with safety concerns.
• Uphold company and client policies while representing Treston Security Services with integrity.
• All other duties, as assigned.

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card
  (Required)
• Handcuff, Baton or Pepper Spray Permits
  (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
  (Preferred)
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tactfully influence, resolve conflict, and remain flexible.
• Ability to interact with all levels of corporate leadership, form liaison internally and externally with other departments and personnel.
• Ability to brief, defend, influence, and instruct others on security requirements and policies.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently at a high level without constant supervision.
