Job SummaryThe Security Officer (Dispatcher) provides safety, security, and customer service to guests, tenants, vendors, and employees on the L.A. LIVE campus, and assists local public safety agencies.
Essential Functions- Represent L.A. LIVE professionally and courteously.
- Patrol campus on foot and maintain vigilance.
- Respond promptly to all security needs.
- Serve customers and staff with excellent service.
- Conduct regular inspections and report findings.
- Respond to crime scenes, secure them until law enforcement arrives, and conduct simple misdemeanor investigations.
- Maintain a safe environment around the venue.
- Collaborate with local public safety agencies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0–1 year related work experience.
- Valid California Guard Card.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Maintain confidentiality of patrons, employees, and company information.
- Ability to recall relevant incident details quickly.
- Work outdoors for extended periods.
- Stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability for non‑traditional hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
$22.75 per hour
Sign‑on BonusA one‑time bonus of $250.00 is paid 30 days after hire, subject to tax deductions and repayment if resignation or termination occurs within one year.
Referral BonusEligible L.A. LIVE employees may receive a $150.00 bonus for a Part‑Time Security Officer or $250.00 for a Full‑Time Security Officer. The program runs from 7 August 2023 to 31 December 2026.
