We are seeking a reliable, observant, and compassionate Security Guard to help maintain a safe environment for clients and staff at our Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facility in Los Angeles.

As part of our operations team, the Security Guard plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the facility while maintaining a trauma-informed, respectful, and non-confrontational presence.

• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to maintain facility safety
• Limit access only to clients, staff and approved visitors
• Observe the property for anything unusual and document it accordingly
• Conduct routine perimeter checks and log incidents as needed
• De‑escalate conflict or behavioral issues using non‑violent techniques
• Observe and report any suspicious or unsafe activity
• Support staff in managing visitor access and deliveries
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow facility protocols
• Ensure confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of security experience, preferably in a behavioral health, medical, or SUD setting
• Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑stress situations
• Familiarity with trauma‑informed care principles a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
