GSOC Analyst ResponsibilitiesAs a GSOC Analyst, you will serve as the communications hub for global security operations, including:
- Communications Monitoring:
Monitor all channels of communication (email, phones, messenger apps) and meet KPI requirements for response. - Global Assistance:
Answer assistance requests from employees worldwide. - Crisis Response:
Serve as first line of response and escalation to panic alarms and other crisis communications. - Access & Camera Monitoring:
Monitor access controls and cameras; respond to alarms and requests in a timely manner. - Data Management:
Manage multiple data input feeds and spreadsheets to initiate, track, and log communications with travelers in the field. - Event Logging:
Data log events, protests, and incidents for alerting, reports, and trend analysis. - Intelligence Gathering:
Pull data from multiple vendor feeds to support stakeholder research and analysis. - Stakeholder Alerts:
Communicate timely, concise, and proactive alerts to stakeholders. - Risk Monitoring:
Monitor the global risk environment; analyze sources for timely, accurate, and relevant information. - Situational Reporting:
Compile situational reports for stakeholders. - Emergency Communications:
Send mass notifications and emergency communications. - Crisis Support:
Support crisis mitigation and business continuity planning; assist in coordinating meetings, data, and response in scenarios that require incident management. - Traveler Safety:
Support travel and company asset security; monitor traveler and building locations and conduct welfare checks/offer assistance as needed.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Strong professional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and comfortable with independent outreach to management and stakeholders.
- Ability to make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high‑stress situations, often under time constraints.
- Experience aggregating and analyzing information in emergency situations.
- Working knowledge of current global events and geography.
- Ability to analyze and think critically, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances.
- Strong computer skills; experience with complex platforms and strong understanding of social media and communications platforms.
- Strong team player with willingness to assist with overtime when needed.
- Prior GSOC and/or military experience.
- Degree in political science, international relations, or national security.
- Open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering background.
- Calm under pressure with the ability to make swift, well‑reasoned decisions.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple simultaneous data streams.
- A strong communicator—written and verbal—who conveys critical information clearly and concisely.
- Analytically minded with a genuine passion for global security and current events.
- Flexible and available for all shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
