• Aircraft Access Control: ensure that only authorized personnel enter the aircraft while on the ground.
• Aircraft Ramp Access Control: provide access control and safety oversight while aircraft is on the ground.
• Aircraft Search: complete a meticulous search of all areas of the aircraft according to company and federal regulations to ensure the safety of travelers’ pre‑departure.
• Baggage Security: provide surveillance of bag room and baggage make‑up area to ensure no baggage is stolen or pilfered.
• Catering Security: provide surveillance at the catering kitchen, searching all catering equipment, and ensuring that nothing is tampered with in transit from the facilities to aircraft.
• Passenger Verification: provide exemplary customer service in airport terminal while making sure that all passengers have valid identification and are authorized to board flights.

This position requires obtaining Airport Badging and the Department of Homeland Security requires an extensive background check to obtain badging, which includes a 10-year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references. Must also be able to pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid State Security License
• Upon hire, must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
• Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
• Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by Global Security and Airport Authority
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
