Overview
Major Events Security Manager – responsible for overseeing executive protection teams and activities within a specific geographic region, ensuring the health, safety, and physical security of all attendees at Bank of America sponsored or hosted events. The role includes developing and implementing security plans, directing activities to safeguard senior management and events, and delivering threat analysis across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for each event, including risk assessments, staffing requirements, and emergency response strategies.
- Select, train, and supervise security personnel; brief them on responsibilities and event specifics.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and private security firms for a unified approach to event security.
- Ensure all security activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements; stay updated on security technology and procedures.
- Serve as the primary contact for all security-related incidents and lead incident resolution with minimal disruption.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a security management role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with internal customers/leadership and external partners.
- Proven experience managing teams and coordinating with private security and law enforcement agencies.
- Proven critical thinking under pressure; self‑motivated, self‑starter.
- Influencer – ability to work closely with stakeholders and influence decisions on security resources.
- Adaptability, durability, and strong computer skills (MS Office) required.
- Availability to respond to matters outside regular work hours.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- AED/CPR/First Responder Certified/TECC (must obtain within 6 months of hiring).
- CPP, PSP, or similar security certification.

Pay range: $ – $ annualized salary, based on experience, education, and skill set.
