Advance Nursing Services has been in existence for over five years and recruits on behalf of organizations who care for homeless families and individuals. We support the cause and fight to end homelessness by providing interim housing, nourishing meals, and safe locations to empower our clients to find their journey to home.
JOB TITLE: Security Guard
SALARY: Starting from $16/hour
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or two years of security guard experience.
- Valid security guard card.
- Recent physical report within the past year.
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
- Will work at an interim housing location (not an office).
