Surefox North America Inc is a veteran owned company that prides itself on creating a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking an experienced part‑time Flex Executive Protection & Residential Security Agent to join our team in the Bay Area or outside California. The role involves working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Team Leader, Program Managers & GSOC, for our top Silicon Valley clients and beyond.
As a Surefox Agent, you will act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing physical security at their residence, transportation, and public events. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations. Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical and non‑medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, overwatch, reconnaissance, staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests promptly.
Whatyou will do
- Develop relationships with clients and facilitate collaboration within the team.
- Track and report on program performance, assurance, and compliance requirements within provided guidelines.
- Manage and monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
- Maintain logs of all activities occurring at the residence.
- Screen all incoming mail.
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or by vehicle while monitoring access.
- Contact police or fire department in emergencies.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients professionally.
- Attend project meetings to assess security implications of proposed changes.
- Work independently and adapt to various work paces while maintaining a high level of attentiveness and energy.
- Be responsible for client and family safety, safeguarding client assets.
- Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
- Operate motor vehicles safely and legally.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest.
- Operate in a low profile, low footprint capacity.
- Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
- Comply with Surefox policy and procedures.
- Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox campus locations during shortages.
- Support and staff various positions as required (Incident Commander, Supervisor, Team Lead, Residential or Executive Protection Agent).
- Work security at events as needed.
- Work weekends and holidays with limited notice and during “high need” periods.
- Work multiple shifts, including days, swings, and graves.
- Staff multiple locations.
- Be familiar with and comply with standard operating procedures set by programs and/or clients.
- Be eligible for employment in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
- Possess a current California CCW License or BSIS Exposed Permit.
- Pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
- Live within driving distance (West LA).
- Have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard card.
- Hold a high school degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrate competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Make timely and sound decisions.
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Work independently and as a team member.
- Hold CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages.
- Possess a valid and current driver license.
- Understand technology across all platforms.
- Have strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Pass the Protective Operations Surefox Physical Agility Test (PO SPAT) prior to start date.
- Security or law enforcement related experience.
- Military background.
- Report writing experience.
- Hourly rate: $40.00.
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Pacific Time. - Site location:
Marina Del Rey, CA.
Vets and current military reservists are encouraged to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role may require travel beyond California and a national and international response capability.
