As a Security Officer Armed Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations that arise. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and support a welcoming environment.

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, permits, and authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering restricted areas.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related concerns.

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
