As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support a professional environment.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
