We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing losses, and responding to emergencies. Candidates should possess skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
** Essential Functions
*** Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and the public.
* Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
* Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage
* Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts
* Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security issues
** Qualifications
* ** Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must have valid BSIS Guard Card with Powers to Arrest & Appropriate Use of Force certificate
* Must be able to clear a Motor Vehicle Report
* Must be able to work weekends and holidays
* Ability to perform necessary physical duties, i.e., walking, standing, making necessary rounds, operating motorized vehicle
