Pay
: $23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Code 4 Private Security is seeking an experienced Field Lead / Security Supervisor to oversee security personnel assigned to K-12 schools and select college campuses. This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring someone who can supervise officers, communicate professionally with school administrators and staff, respond to incidents, verify employee hours and documentation, and ensure Code 4 standards are consistently maintained.
The successful candidate will work across K-12 educational environments and college campuses and must be comfortable interacting professionally with students of different age groups, parents, faculty, administrators, campus personnel, and members of the public.

Compensation
- $23.00–$25.00 per hour
- Starting rate will be based on security experience, supervisory experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position
- Candidates meeting or exceeding preferred qualifications may be considered for the higher end of the pay range
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, direct, coach, and support assigned security officers
- Oversee security operations at K-12 schools and college campuses
- Conduct field and site inspections to ensure officers are at their assigned posts and performing required duties
- Review and verify security officer hours, timekeeping records, clock-ins, clock-outs, and attendance
- Identify and report discrepancies involving missed punches, late arrivals, early departures, overtime, and unauthorized hours
- Ensure employee hours and staffing records are accurate before submission to management/payroll
- Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with school and college administrators, faculty, staff, clients, officers, and Code 4 management
- Ensure officers comply with Code 4 policies, post orders, uniform standards, campus requirements, and client expectations
- Address attendance, performance, conduct, and operational issues involving assigned officers
- Provide clear direction, training, and corrective coaching when necessary
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, staffing issues, and client concerns
- Review incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with call-offs, scheduling issues, and shift coverage when necessary
- Conduct briefings and communicate changes in post orders or client expectations
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries when working around minors and students
- Work professionally around students, parents, faculty, administrators, visitors, and members of the public
- De-escalate situations and assist officers with challenging incidents
- Drive company vehicles between assigned locations as required
- Immediately report serious incidents, safety concerns, personnel problems, and client issues to management
- Serve as a professional representative of Code 4 Private Security at all times
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of security supervisory or leadership experience
- 10+ years of security industry experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must be eligible to operate company vehicles
- Current TB test or ability to obtain one before assignment
- Ability to successfully complete all required background and employment screening
- Experience working in K-12 schools, colleges, universities, campuses, youth programs, or other educational environments strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong incident-report writing and documentation skills
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and capable of working with limited supervision
- Comfortable holding officers accountable and professionally addressing performance issues
