As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol Reconnaissance in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, assist visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of public areas, buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, public events, and visitor inquiries as assigned while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
