Security Officer Private Residential Security

The Security Officer will provide on-site security and protective services at a private residence in the greater Los Angeles area. The position may also require providing security and transportation support at other locations based on operational needs.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively in both routine and emergency situations.

• Conduct routine foot patrols of the property and surrounding grounds at regular intervals.
• Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and other residential security systems.
• Help prevent unauthorized access, trespassing, theft, and other security concerns.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and authorized personnel.
• Serve as an initial responder during emergency situations, render assistance within the scope of training, contact emergency services as appropriate, and administer CPR, AED, or first aid when necessary.
• Provide secure transportation to and from appointments, meetings, events, and other locations as needed.
• Provide security support at private events, both at the primary residence and at off-site locations.
• Maintain appropriate grooming, dress, and professional conduct standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, situational awareness, discretion, and a service-oriented approach.

• Prior military, law enforcement, executive protection, or residential security experience preferred.
• Must meet applicable State of California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services requirements, including a current Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit.
• Must possess a valid California Concealed Carry Weapons permit or current LEOSA (HR 218) credentials, as applicable.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have an excellent driving record.
• Familiarity with roads, highways, and surrounding communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

• Must be CPR/AED certified or able to obtain certification.
• Must be able to perform CPR, operate an AED, and administer basic first aid within the scope of training.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to sprint, bend, squat, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate designated motor vehicles.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with other security personnel.

The successful candidate will demonstrate discretion, reliability, sound judgment, strong situational awareness, and a high degree of professionalism. Given the nature of the position, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of the individuals being supported are essential.
