** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.

+ Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.

+ Possess a Corrections Officer License.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
