Guard-Systems, Inc. is hiring an experienced Part-Time Swing Shift Security Officer for a residential property in the Downtown Los Angeles
This is an active, resident-facing position for someone who is observant, professional, and a strong communicator. Swing shift stays busy with residents, guests, deliveries, vendors, access control, and regular activity throughout the property.
We are looking for someone who can stay sharp, communicate clearly, and work well with an involved, hands-on management team.
Schedule & Pay- Thursday–Saturday
- 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
- 24 hours per week
- $21.00 per hour
- Is seasoned, observant, and aware of what's happening around you
- Communicates well with residents, guests, coworkers, and management
- Works well with a hands-on management team and clear expectations
- Takes direction and feedback professionally
- Is comfortable greeting and acknowledging everyone entering the building
- Can enforce access control and property policies professionally
- Notices unusual behavior and follows through when something needs attention
- Stays calm and professional when unexpected situations come up
- Understands the importance of professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Wants a consistent, long‑term part‑time position
- Maintain access control and greet residents and guests
- Monitor CCTV, entrances, elevators, and common areas
- Conduct regular foot patrols
- Assist with resident concerns and property activity
- Watch for unusual or unauthorized activity
- Complete clear daily and incident reports
- Communicate important information to management and the security team
- Follow site procedures and management direction
