As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, issue badges, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and tenants by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Observe lobby and entrance activity, report suspicious behavior or property concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.
• Communicate clearly with property management, residents, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
