Job Description
The Repair Technician performs skilled technical work that involves diagnosing, replacing, repairing, and rebuilding oxygen tanks and systems for aircrafts. This role requires the use of diagnostic equipment and a variety of trade-specific tools, applying principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory. The technician interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics, applying knowledge of the design and function of equipment.
The role also involves adhering to industry and government guidelines, particularly those related to safety, health, and environmental practices.
Diagnose, replace, repair, and rebuild oxygen tanks and systems for aircrafts.
Use diagnostic equipment and a variety of trade-specific tools.
Apply principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory.
Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
Follow industry and government guidelines related to safety, health, and environmental practices.
Assist with research and development of new repair capabilities, including reading new manuals and participating in on and off site training.
Assist with the maintenance of shop equipment and supplies.
Make computer entries and complete maintenance documents such as Service Reports and 8130-3’s in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience in assembly and repair
- Ability to perform component repair and troubleshooting
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with production processes
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance

Work EnvironmentWork in a FAA Repair station, focusing on tasks such as cylinder/regulator maintenance, high pressure tank servicing, and oxygen mask repairs. The role requires adherence to safety standards and allows for hands‑on experience with specialized equipment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
