Overview
We are seeking a skilled Indian Carpenter to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various hand and power tools and be able to read blueprints and follow technical plans.
Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood or other materials.
- Install structures such as windows, frames, flooring, roofing or trim.
- Repair or renovate existing structures by replacing damaged parts or fixing structural issues.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary.
- Read blueprints, drawings and technical plans to determine project specifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Carpenter.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have own hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Experience with various hand and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Must be able to read blueprints and follow technical plans accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites with a variety of projects (residential or commercial).
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Previous experience working with different types of wood and materials.
Starting salary of $1800 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
LocationThis job is based in Los Angeles. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently located in the area.
AccommodationAccommodation will be provided for the first 3 months. After that period, candidates will be responsible for finding their own accommodation.
