Concrete Laborer​/General Laborer (LOS ANGELES, CA)

Chris Kelley, Inc. DBA Childs Play. Looking for experienced concrete laborer/general laborer to join our team. Please only apply if you have a minimum of 7 years concrete experience. Reliable transportation and basic tools are required. Must be a team player who works efficiently and effectively.

For over 25 years, Childs Play has been a construction company specializing in parks and recreation. Installing playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, skate parks, urban landscape, and much more. We are a family first, and work smart team.

• Assist in building and posting forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware.
• Pour or place concrete.
• Install rebar, expansion joints, or carbon fiber.
• Apply finishing coat.
• Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment.
• Clean up worksite during and when the project is complete.
• Assist with general laborer duties as needed.
• Prevailing Wage projects.

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 7+ years of concrete or skilled labor experience preferred
• Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
• Must be able to lift (minimum 50 lbs)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands
• Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials
• Ability to measure accurately and read specifications
