About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join a specialized team focused on the rapid expansion of EV charging infrastructure. This role is perfect for a hands‑on professional who prefers focusing on high quality technical execution and complex troubleshooting rather than project management or crew supervision.
Responsibilities- Execute the installation and commissioning of diverse EV charging stations to ensure reliable performance.
- Perform precise conduit bending, including EMT and underground runs, to meet rigorous site specifications.
- Manage wire pulling and termination tasks across 208V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems.
- Interpret complex blueprints and one-line diagrams to guide installation accuracy and system integrity.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on energized panels to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and NEC standards during every phase of the installation process.
- Active California DIR Certified Electrician status.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional field experience in electrical construction.
- Comprehensive understanding of NEC Article 625 regarding EVSE installations.
- Valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle for regional travel.
- Proven expertise in high-voltage system maintenance and panel work.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior installers through technical guidance.
- Strong problem-solving skills when navigating challenging site conditions.
