Loyal Source is seeking skilled Security Service Technicians to support the U.S. Marshals Service in Los Angeles, CA
. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electronic security systems and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience working with intrusion detection systems, access control, CCTV, networking equipment, and mission‑critical security technologies.

Pay Rate: Starting at $34/hr

The Security Service Technician performs a wide range of field service and technical support functions to ensure the reliability and functionality of electronic security systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, project teams, and other trades.

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic security systems and related equipment.
• Configure hardware and software components and prepare systems for operational use.
• Install and maintain raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, cabinets, and control panels.
• Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network equipment, and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling systems and associated components.
• Assist with commissioning activities, testing procedures, system validation, and project closeout.
• Review project drawings and documentation to evaluate constructability and installation requirements.
• Participate in quality control inspections and ensure compliance with established QC plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, testing records, and service reports.
• Track and inventory tools, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams, customers, and other trades to ensure successful project execution.
• Participate in safety meetings and maintain compliance with all site‑specific safety requirements.
• Support resource planning, material staging, and workforce coordination activities.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to team members when required.

• Must be eligible to successfully complete a government security investigation.
• U.S. Citizenship may be required for access to certain government facilities.
• No security clearance required at time of hire.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program preferred; or
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; or
• Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience in lieu of formal education.

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience performing electronics installation and maintenance activities across multiple systems and customer environments.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting quality standards and project deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience installing, maintaining, and servicing:
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Access Control Systems (ACS)
  • CCTV and Video Management Systems
  • Intercom Systems
  • Network Infrastructure Equipment
• Manufacturer certifications or hands‑on experience with systems such as:
  • CCURE
  • Lenel
  • Identiv/Hirsch Velocity
  • Bosch Radionics
  • Bosch CCTV
  • Bosch BVMS
  • Aiphone Intercom Systems
  • Airphone
  • FFT
  • DIVAR
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience focused on electronic security systems.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
