Under the guidance of a Lead Installation Technician, the Installation Technician I will perform installation of cost-effective energy savings measures in non-residential buildings. The package of measures to be installed includes: screw-in CFLs, LED Exit Signs, hardwired and retrofitted fixtures, lamps and ballast including T-8’s, LEDs, high bays, lighting controls, refrigeration and HVAC coil cleaning. The package of measures may be modified as appropriate for the facility.

- Set up to perform work at customer’s site
- Install measures per specified audit
- Retrofit existing sign
- Replace thermostats
- Perform caulking, weather stripping
- Install occupancy censors
- Replace and install room a/c units
- Remove existing equipment/material from site
- Duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license and minimum required level of automobile insurance
- Current Electrical Trainee card
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Los Angeles, CA resident
- One year of work experience in electrical or construction field
- Two years of licensed experience driving a motor vehicle with an acceptable driving record
- Hands-on experience with lighting retrofit installations, including LED fixtures, lamps and ballasts, and exit signs
- Prior experience working directly at customer facilities and coordinating with on-site staff during installs, such as building managers, maintenance teams, or facility contacts, is a plus.
- Hands-on experience installing controls such as thermostats and occupancy sensors.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC or room A/C unit replacement.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration or coil cleaning.
Job Description
- Able to perform field installation work involving frequent climbing, lifting, bending, and reaching
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
- Able to climb ladders up to 18 feet and work at heights of up to 30 feet
- Able to travel periodically, including some overnight stays
- Available to work evenings and weekends on occasion

Compensation& Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
