Job Description
Summary:
The Case Management Apprenticeship Program (CMAP) is a 5-week cohort training experience that employs classroom learning, skills shadowing, supervision, and evaluation for candidates with transferrable skills who hope to enter the field of homelessness services. CMAP aims to prepare candidates for transition into case management roles in permanent supportive housing or related programs. The Apprentice Program Coordinator will provide direct support to CMAP Apprentices throughout their 5-week training experience.
This role is responsible for coordinating logistics, facilitating communication between trainers and apprentices, and ensuring a supportive and structured learning environment. The Apprentice Program Coordinator will be a key point of contact for apprentices and will promote successful completion of the program.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the screening and interviewing of potential CAMP candidates.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new apprentices.
- Serve as the primary liaison for apprentices during each cohort cycle.
- Coordinate daily schedules, including classroom sessions, shadowing assignments, and supervision check-ins.
- Track apprentice attendance, progress, and feedback throughout the program.
- Support trainers and case managers in delivering curriculum and shadowing experiences.
- Deploy to program locations to enhance program shadowing and reverse shadowing capacity.
- Facilitate weekly check-ins and provide real-time support to apprentices.
- Document apprentice performance and contribute to evaluation reports.
- Help organize graduation events and job fairs at the conclusion of each cohort.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program standards.
- Other CAMP support duties, as assigned.
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, or case management support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with lived experience is a plus.
- Passion for supporting individuals entering the human services field.
- Combination of field and office environment.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs.
- On occasion walk or drive to different local sites.
- Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments.
- Will be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odor.
- May need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the day.
