Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30/8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $33.17 – $38.46 per hour
About the OpportunityOur client is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support their Street Medicine program based out of Marengo. This role delivers direct medical care to individuals experiencing homelessness across emergency shelters, permanent supportive housing sites, and community-based field settings.
This is a dynamic position combining clinic support, field outreach, and administrative coordination.
Schedule & Weekly StructureStart times may vary depending on site location (earliest start 7:30 AM).
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in shelters and community settings
- Perform wound care and basic clinical procedures
- Document all patient interactions in EPIC (EHR)
- Prepare supplies and coordinate daily field logistics
- Complete weekly documentation and follow-up tasks
- Support clinic operations when Street Medicine duties are completed
- Active LVN license
- Active Driver’s License and current auto insurance (required for compliance)
- Bilingual Spanish (fully fluent preferred; strong conversational required)
- Comfortable working independently in non-traditional care environments
- Experience working with the homeless population
- Prior community outreach or field-based experience
