IOS Developer

My client is a VC backed Start up who builds products to coordinate and automate airfield operations in real time. Their flagship product helps operations teams manage aircraft turnaround processes and they're working toward fully automated ground operations.

You'll join a fast-growing team of 8 engineers that's about to double by end of year. Work directly with aviation stakeholders globally - the team travels to countries like Japan to solve problems firsthand.

This is a hands‑on engineering role where you'll own projects end‑to‑end with no product managers. 80-90% of users access the product through mobile so your work directly impacts the core user experience.

We are looking for a Software Engineer, iOS with 3-10+ years of experience to join our small, agile team. We are looking for a self‑driven engineer with high ownership who can help us build high‑quality, stable mobile products as we scale. This person will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing the our iOS application, which is the primary way 80-90% of our users interact with our product.

• 3 - 10 years of experience in iOS software engineering, with a focus on Swift.
• Demonstrated end- to- end ownership of projects without PMs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must have experience building applications in Swift.
• Apple SDKs, iOS development tools, and Git/Git Hub proficiency
• Experience writing automated tests (e. g. , Appium, UI tests).
• Experience with Swift
  
  UI and Core Data.

• Must work in- person 5 days/week in Los Angeles.
• Must have US work authorization (no sponsorship).

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality iOS features and functionality from end‑to‑end.
• Take full ownership of projects: from speaking with end‑users at airports to designing solutions, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Drive improvements in app performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write automated tests and champion engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with our in-house designer, but also be scrappy and design new views or components on the fly.
