Joining the Growth Team at Erewhon as our Software Engineer II, you’ll be responsible for connecting all business‑critical operations and building data and technology features that drive Erewhon’s growth.

• Work as a core member of our team to enhance existing systems and build new infrastructure, integrations, and features.
• Work closely alongside our Executive Leadership and various Operations Teams to directly deliver impact to operations and critical systems across our business.
• Develop custom internal tools to help streamline and optimize workflows for various departments.
• Write clean and concise code.
• Modernize our infrastructure with the latest tools and technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience building front and backends in JavaScript/Type Script and NodeJS.
• Experience with Git and Git Lab / Git Hub.
• Experience with common NodeJS libraries / frameworks (e.g. React/React Native, Express, lodash).
• Experience connecting internal and external systems through various methods (e.g. APIs, SFTP, Webhooks).
• Experience with SQL based database engines (e.g. MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL).
• Advanced analytical skills with a strong ability to solve complex problems.
• Self‑motivated and self‑sufficient, with a track record of thriving in a fast‑paced, scrappy startup environment.
• Able to efficiently and effectively juggle multiple projects in parallel.
• Willing to work full‑time in an office environment in Los Angeles.

• A strong Dev Ops mindset with experience working with automated CI/CD workflows.
• Familiar with Platform Engineering and an interest in building software infrastructure for hybrid (cloud and on‑prem) environments.
• Experience working with container and container orchestration tools like Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.
