We are seeking a Senior Web Application Engineer for a full‑time, hybrid position based in Los Alamitos, California (two days onsite per week) with a global technology and digital publishing organization. This company builds and supports highly scalable, mission‑critical web platforms that power content delivery, membership experiences, eCommerce, and digital services used by professionals and organizations worldwide. The technology stack includes Word Press, PHP, React, JavaScript, Type Script, and cloud‑based integrations.

- 7–10+ years of experience building and supporting modern, production‑grade web applications
- Strong experience with Word Press or Drupal, including custom PHP development and extensibility
- Proven experience supporting high‑traffic, enterprise‑level websites, including eCommerce platforms
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third‑party services
- Strong understanding of system design, architectural patterns, and performance optimization
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, design, and business teams
- Experience leading or contributing to large technical initiatives or platform‑level improvements
- Experience in digital publishing, membership platforms, events, or nonprofit environments
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience working within complex, large‑scale web ecosystems
- Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
