Senior Frontend Engineer — Consumer Experience

Compensation: $325k - $425k (base + equity + profit sharing).
Why This Role Exists- A locked frontend stack. React 19, Next.js 16, Tailwind v4, shadcn/ui. Non‑negotiable.
- AI‑generated UI components. Parts of the interface are generated or adapted by AI 'll work with probabilistic GUIs — components that render differently based on confidence levels, context, and user state.
- A design system that doesn't fully exist yet. The Founding Designer will define it. You'll build and extend it.
Consumer surface quality. The interfaces users touch. Page speed, interaction fluency, visual polish, accessibility.
Cross‑surface component architecture. Shared components that work across web, chat, and extension. Design tokens, component APIs, responsive patterns.
AI‑interface integration. Streaming responses, confidence indicators, regeneration controls, progressive disclosure.
Who You AreHow you think. You have taste in what “right” looks and feels like. You defend architecture decisions with behavioral evidence, not just technical arguments.
How you work. You ship features end‑to‑end. You verify what AI produces. You write code that others can read and extend.
What you've probably built. Consumer‑facing web applications with meaningful traffic. Component libraries or design systems. Streaming or real‑time interfaces.
Who this isn't for. This role is for those who prefer user‑facing interfaces over backend infrastructure, and who can ship fast without a strict Figma spec.
Compensation & OwnershipTotal first‑year comp: $325,000 – $425,000 (base + equity + profit sharing).
Base: $200,000 – $260,000.
Equity: PIUs — $0 strike, Capital Gains, actual ownership from day one.
Liquidity: Annual tender offer.
