About Pirros

We are building Intelligence for design production and reshaping how architecture and engineering firms manage design details and project knowledge.

Pirros is an AI-powered project hub purpose-built for architects and engineers. Our platform helps AECO professionals - architects, engineers, contractors, and owners - streamline detail management, improve consistency, reduce errors, and accelerate project delivery.

We're building the system of record for design production in a $12T+ industry that has long been underserved by modern software and workflows.

Why Join Pirros
  • Backed by leading investors including YC, Funders Club, Plan Grid, and Elephant
  • Profitable business with $7M+ ARR and growing 10% month-over-month
  • Closed a $17M Series A in 2025
  • 350+ firms actively using Pirros today, including some of the top AEC firms in the country
  • 120% net revenue retention
  • Founders come directly from the structural engineering industry
  • Competitive compensation package - salary, equity, unlimited PTO, and full benefits
  • High-trust, high-autonomy culture with experienced builders and operators
  • Opportunity to solve meaningful problems for the people designing the world around us
What You'll Own:
  • Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy
  • Own testing for features end-to-end, from requirements review and test planning through release validation and post-production monitoring
  • Develop and maintain automated test coverage across frontend, backend, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end workflows
  • Create clear, scalable test plans and test cases for complex product features and customer workflows
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, design, and customer-facing teams to identify edge cases, risks, and quality gaps early in the development process
  • Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing where needed, especially for complex or high-risk releases
  • Debug, reproduce, document, and help drive resolution of complex issues across the application stack
  • Improve release quality, production stability, and customer experience through better QA processes, tooling, and standards
  • Help define quality metrics, bug severity standards, release readiness criteria, and regression testing processes
  • Continuously raise the engineering bar through thoughtful feedback, strong documentation, and partnership with developers during code reviews, feature reviews, and technical discussions
What We're Looking For:
  • Highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to help raise the quality bar across our product and engineering organization. This is not a traditional "test at the end" QA role. We're looking for someone who can own quality across the full software development lifecycle, partner closely with engineering and product, build scalable testing processes, and help ensure we ship fast without sacrificing reliability.
  • You'll be responsible for designing and executing testing strategies across complex web applications, identifying risk before it reaches customers, improving automation coverage, and helping create a culture where quality is owned by the entire team.
  • Strong experience testing full-stack web applications, including frontend, backend, APIs, data flows, integrations, and infrastructure-related behavior
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, regression testing, exploratory testing, automation strategy, and release management
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript / Type Script-based applications and modern frontend frameworks such as React
  • Experience testing APIs, backend services, authentication flows, permissions, data integrity, and complex user workflows
  • Ability to read code, review logs, inspect network activity, use browser developer tools, and work closely with engineers to isolate issues
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests fit into modern development workflows
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize risk, and take ownership with minimal oversight
Who You Are:
  • You think like a customer, not just a tester and catch issues before they become customer problems
  • You take ownership of quality across the entire development lifecycle
  • You can work in ambiguity and bring structure where processes are still evolving
  • You are comfortable challenging assumptions and asking the right questions early
  • You care deeply about building a product that is reliable, intuitive, scalable, and trusted by customers
Pirros believes diverse perspectives and experiences make both our product and culture stronger. We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.

Pirros is committed to fair and equitable compensation. Compensation packages are determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and performance, and include salary, equity, and benefits.
