About The Job
HTS is a B2B2C fintech company providing the Cancel For Any Reason product embedded in partner booking flows. We are looking for an engineering leader who will build scalable systems while acting as a partner-facing technical advisor and solution architect.
Responsibilities- Lead a tight team of ~3 engineers, delivering durable, scalable systems.
- Own architecture, development, and rollout of the Hotels CFAR platform (offer, pricing, order, exercise APIs, SDK layer, synthetic rate bundling, exercise/payout infrastructure).
- Handle end‑to‑end partner integrations: scope solutions, lead solutioning calls, design integration patterns, coordinate with sales and solutions to advance partners through Discovery to Solutioning to Development to Live.
- Build partner‑growth infrastructure: partner management portal, configuration tooling, self‑serve onboarding.
- Serve as senior technical voice in partner conversations, translating between partner engineering teams, our APIs, and product strategy; manage SLAs, performance, partner‑specific requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk/Pricing, Ops, and GTM to align engineering output with business outcomes (attach rate, contribution profit, launch velocity, loss ratio).
- Foster technical excellence through architecture reviews, mentorship, and raising the bar on the senior ICs and tech leads.
- Experience leading engineering teams building B2B/B2B2C platforms with real external partners.
- Strong technical background across backend systems (APIs, orchestration, distributed systems), front‑end SDKs/embedded UI, and cloud infrastructure.
- Direct partner/customer‑facing technical leadership experience—running solutioning calls, scoping integrations, owning SLAs, and unblocking deployments.
- Comfortable with fintech, insurance‑adjacent, or transactional products (money movement, refunds, pricing engines, contracts, audit trails).
- Familiarity with travel distribution landscapes a bonus (booking engines, agent portals, bedbanks, OTAs, PSS/inventory platforms, hotel CRS/chain systems).
- Experience with Scala or Java, REST APIs, OAuth
2.0, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS); front‑end exposure (React, JS/TS) for SDK work. - A collaborative, product‑mind approach—able to partner closely with Sales, Product, Risk, and Ops without losing engineering rigor.
