Technical Program Manager – Setlist.fm
Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship division seeks a Technical Program Manager to drive day‑to‑day execution and coordination of technical initiatives supporting Setlist.fm.
Responsibilities- Drive day‑to‑day technical execution and delivery coordination for the Setlist.fm platform, including feature development, site improvements, and bug resolution across external vendor teams.
- Serve as primary point of contact for external development teams, managing priorities, clarifying technical requirements, and ensuring consistent delivery against roadmap goals.
- Translate product and business requirements into well‑scoped technical tasks, milestones, statements of work, and delivery plans in close partnership with product leadership.
- Coordinate and manage additional technical vendors and contractors across related initiatives such as data infrastructure, reporting dashboards, and web development projects.
- Maintain visibility into timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality standards across all technical work streams, proactively flagging issues and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce friction between teams, and strengthen delivery practices across the program.
- Support platform stability and performance by surfacing technical gaps, tracking resolution of bugs and maintenance items, and ensuring quality standards are met prior to release.
- 6+ years of experience in technical program management, technical project management, or a similar delivery‑focused role supporting consumer‑facing web platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of modern web technologies, development workflows, and software delivery life cycles—sufficient to engage credibly with engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing execution through external engineering teams, agencies, vendors, or technical contractors, including developing statements of work and vendor deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into structured execution plans and manage multiple parallel work streams across distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging product, business, and technical audiences and translating complex technical concepts into clear language for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
- Self‑starter who thrives with limited direction and proactively identifies next steps.
- Familiarity with web‑focused technologies (Python, JavaScript/front‑end frameworks) is a plus but not required.
- Passion for live music and familiarity with the concert experience is a meaningful plus.
- Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
Expected compensation: $110,000 – $125,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
