Tyle is a pre‑seed health‑tech startup backed by a16z and elite ex‑Google/Meta leaders building the visual biomarker layer for human health. Using proprietary imaging hardware and multimodal AI, Tyle transforms the body's surface into a longitudinal record of health intelligence to detect chronic conditions and early signs of disease.

As the Founding AI Engineer at Tyle, you will architect and scale the core computer vision system from day zero. You'll own the end-to-end pipeline, from signal capture and data curation to training multimodal models that interpret biological signals. Working alongside elite founders, you will define the technical foundation of a new category of preventative health infrastructure.

• Join a high‑pedigree founding team consisting of a 12‑year Meta engineering leader and Google's former Head of Product for Discovery & Applied AI.
• Work on a zero‑to‑one challenge at the intersection of custom hardware and cutting‑edge multimodal AI, backed by the a16z Explorer Fund.
• Exercise true founding‑level ownership with a significant equity stake of up to 5% and the autonomy to design technical systems without legacy constraints.

• Architect and evolve the complete computer vision stack, optimizing the journey from raw sensor data to production‑ready biological insights.
• Translate emerging research and state‑of‑the‑art multimodal techniques into reliable, high‑performance models capable of operating in real‑world clinical conditions.
• Build the foundational data infrastructure and training loops required to scale longitudinal health intelligence and improve model performance continuously.

• Possesses deep expertise in training and deploying computer vision or multimodal AI models that have been proven in production environments.
