Founding Robotics Software Engineer

One of the most interesting early-stage robotics startups in LA right now.

Building the software infrastructure that makes fleets of robots from different manufacturers work together seamlessly, a problem nobody has properly solved yet.

Founders with big tech pedigree, strong VC backing, and a technical co-founder who has spent decades in the robotics world. This is hire number four. You will shape the architecture from day one.

• Build and own core orchestration software from the ground up
• Design and deliver distributed, event-driven, real-time systems
• Develop integration layers across multiple robot platforms and manufacturers
• Work with simulation tools to validate real-world system behaviour
• Define architectural decisions and technical standards as a founding engineer
• Build toward pulling a team of engineers behind you as the company scales

• Strong robotics software background, at a hardware-first company
• Deep experience in cross-fleet orchestration and robotic integrations
• ROS2 proficiency, C++ or Python assumed
• Distributed systems and event-driven architecture experience
• Simulation experience a plus, Isaac Sim or Nvidia Omniverse preferred
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Already made the jump from a big name to an early stage environment
• Builder mindset, zero to one experience, scrappy and self-directed
