Sr. Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team focused on building and launching innovative financial technology solutions. This role partners closely with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and customer-focused software products from concept through production.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product management, design, and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, growth initiatives, and market opportunities
Lead and mentor engineering teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, and execution for large-scale distributed systems and applications
Promote engineering best practices, automation, operational excellence, and process optimization across the software development lifecycle
Establish clear team goals, expectations, and performance metrics while supporting professional development and career growth
Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions in a fast-paced environment
Partner with leadership teams to prioritize initiatives, manage technical roadmaps, and align engineering efforts with organizational goals
Encourage experimentation, creative problem-solving, and continuous learning within the engineering organization

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams within high-performing technology organizations
8+ years of experience in software development, system design, and technical delivery across complex and highly visible platforms
Proven experience building and managing large-scale software applications in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Strong understanding of modern software architectures, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies
Hands-on familiarity with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to drive execution, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful technical solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing platforms within fintech, banking, lending, trading, or other regulated industries
Experience working with complex datasets, analytics platforms, or data visualization tools
Background in highly scalable, customer-facing software products and cloud infrastructure environments
