To build and scale core systems for crypto trading, the full-time Staff Software Engineer, Backend will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend infrastructure for the Advanced Trading team, working remotely with quarterly in-person sessions.
Key responsibilities- Own the design, development, and reliability of backend systems serving global traders
- Build architecture that supports multiple trading instruments and scales with demand
- Lead technical projects, ensuring high standards for code quality and system design
- 8+ years of backend software engineering experience with ownership of production services
- Proven experience designing and scaling high-availability, low-latency distributed systems
- Experience leading complex technical projects and making architecture decisions
- Deep proficiency in at least one backend language, preferably Golang, and experience with data stores like MongoDB or Redis
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and improve engineering culture
