Embedded Linux | SDR | C++/Python | Space & Defence
I'm partnering with an innovative engineering company developing advanced communications technology for cutting-edge space and defence applications.
They're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy, support and optimise embedded systems in the field while contributing to the software behind them. This is a hands‑on role combining embedded software, networking, SDRs and customer‑facing engineering.
You'll:
- Deploy and configure embedded Linux systems
- Develop software in C++, C and/or Python
- Support Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
- Work with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
- Collaborate with customers and engineering teams
- Help improve the reliability and performance of mission‑critical systems
You'll Need:
- Experience developing software on Linux
- Strong C++, C and/or Python skills
- Embedded systems experience
- Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP)
- SDR experience (GNURadio is a bonus)
