Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a long‑term project with LAUSD. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, modern web application development, API services, database design, and front‑end technologies. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can drive development efforts, mentor team members, and deliver high‑quality enterprise applications.

• Coordinate application development activities including requirements gathering, scheduling, and troubleshooting across development and production environments.
• Lead system design and development methodologies to deliver modern web‑based applications.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and load testing for websites, applications, and system integrations.
• Design and implement database architectures while ensuring data quality and successful data loads.
• Gather business requirements and recommend appropriate software solutions and technologies.
• Establish and implement standards, processes, and best practices to ensure high‑quality application delivery.
• Collaborate with project management, leadership teams, and business users to provide estimates, project schedules, and status updates.
• Participate in application design strategy sessions and code review meetings.
• Mentor development team members and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Develop system documentation, user guides, and support tools for end users.

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex .NET web applications, APIs, workflows, and SQL‑based solutions.

• 5+ years of ASP.NET / MVC
• 5+ years of C# programming
• 5+ years of REST/SOAP API and Web Services design
