We are looking for an experienced Algorithm Engineer to design and implement intelligent recommendation and ranking algorithms for a fashion marketplace application.

This is a project-based engagement focused exclusively on designing recommendation logic. The application, backend, and UI are already built. The selected engineer will be responsible for creating algorithms that improve user engagement, personalization, and product discovery.

Candidates with prior experience building recommendation engines for fashion, retail, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms are highly preferred.

• Design and implement personalized product recommendation algorithms.
• Develop an intelligent infinite scroll feed that prioritizes:
  • Unseen products
  • Category and subcategory diversity
  • User engagement signals
  • Freshness without relying solely on recency
• Build recommendation logic for Product Detail Pages:
  • Similar products from the same seller
  • Similar products across the marketplace
• Improve Explore page ranking using relevance and conversion-focused algorithms instead of chronological ordering.
• Design a recommendation engine for new users to populate the Following/Home feed using profile-based recommendations.
• Optimize ranking models to improve CTR, engagement, and conversions.
• Define input parameters and data requirements required for recommendation models.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to integrate the recommendation logic.

• Strong experience in recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or personalization engines.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning-based recommendation techniques.

You have previously built recommendation engines for consumer applications and understand how personalization drives engagement and conversions. You can independently design scalable recommendation logic and recommend the data inputs required to implement high-performing ranking models.
