Job Overview

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, is reshaping mesh network technology for mission‑critical applications that support defense, law enforcement and public safety agencies. The role is Web Interface Software Engineer reporting to the Senior Embedded Web Developer on the Software Engineering team. The position is based in West Los Angeles, CA, with a hybrid schedule of three onsite days (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).

• Develop, maintain, improve and test Silvus Stream Caster radio’s web interface and network management software.
• Develop applications running on the Silvus Stream Caster radios.
• Perform rare local travel as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in JavaScript, HTML, and Python backend development.
• Experience in mobile‑friendly web interface development.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• Employment contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

• Experience in UI test automation.
• Experience with C programming.

• Office environment with occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens during field tests or demonstrations.
• Lift equipment up to 20 lbs. for demonstration and testing setup.
• Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.
• Kneel or squat to access lower shelves.
• Walk and move within labs.

$43.27–$57.00 per hour, varying with experience and qualifications.
