Lead Product Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Engineer to drive the development and modernization of high-impact, enterprise-grade applications. In this role, you will lead engineering efforts, execute modern cloud migration strategies, and build highly scalable, cloud-native architectures. This position operates within an advanced, AI-enhanced development lifecycle (AIDLC), where you will leverage cutting-edge AI copilot and automation tools to accelerate coding, architecture design, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Engineering Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade, high-performance back-end systems.
- Architect and execute cloud migration strategies, including the re-platforming and modernization of legacy systems.
- Build and optimize cloud-native solutions, microservices architectures, and containerized applications using modern cloud platform services.
- Write, test, and deliver robust, production-grade code for high-volume financial services systems independently.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote software engineering best practices, design patterns, and continuous learning.
AI-Enhanced Development & Automation
- Operate within an AI-driven SDLC environment, pairing with AI tools and copilots to write, refactor, and test code in real-time.
- Translate complex stakeholder conversations into structured technical specifications using modern AI assistant workflows.
- Leverage AI code assistants to analyze, navigate, and refactor large, complex codebases efficiently.
- Implement intelligent testing frameworks that auto-generate test cases, predict potential defects, and enable continuous integration and self-healing environments.
- Write concurrent automated tests (including API testing) to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Required Qualification
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on .NET and C#.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and database design.
- Proven experience with Azure migration and building cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with AI code assistants like Git Hub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools.
- Experience in automated testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with AI-enhanced workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization and container orchestration.
- Background in building production grade code, fully automated testing and continuous delivery practices.
- Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and related Azure tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools.
- Strong ownership mindset, communication skills.
- Technical lead experience, working with offshore teams are a plus.
- Familiarity with CNCF projects is a plus.
