Role & responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced JD Edwards Enterprise One Orchestrator Developer to design, build, and deploy orchestrations, notifications, and integrations that connect JD Edwards with external systems, mobile apps, IoT devices, and third-party platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in JDE tools and a strong understanding of business processes within JD Edwards Enterprise One.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Orchestrations, Notifications, and Watchlists using JDE Orchestrator Studio
- Build and consume REST/JSON APIs using the AIS Server (Application Interface Services)
- Integrate JD Edwards Enterprise One with external/third-party applications, mobile apps, and IoT devices
- Develop Custom UDOs (User Defined Objects) Composite Apps, Personal Forms, Watchlists, Cafe One pages
- Work with Business Functions (BSFN),
Business Services
, and Form/Data/Process extensions to fulfill orchestration requirements - Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into automated, event-driven orchestrations
- Troubleshoot and optimize orchestration performance and error handling
- Configure and manage AIS Server
, JAS
, and related JDE Tools components - Document technical designs, integration flows, and orchestration logic
- Support testing (unit/integration) and post-deployment maintenance of orchestrations
- Stay current with new JDE Tools Release features related to Orchestrator/UX One
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One Orchestrator Studio
- Experience with AIS Server configuration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, XML
- Working knowledge of JDE Business Functions (BSFN), Named Event Rules (NER), Table I/O
- Familiarity with UDOs (Composite Apps, Personal Forms, Watchlists, One View Reports)
- Understanding of JDE Tools Release (9.2 / Continuous Delivery / Denali)
- Knowledge of CNC basics (environments, package deployment) is a plus
- Experience integrating JDE with mobile apps, IoT, or third-party ERP/CRM systems is a strong plus
- Good understanding of JDE modules (Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, or Distribution — as relevant) is a plus
