Entry Level Software Tester

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Software Tester to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Software Tester you will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the software testing field.

• Execute test cases and report any defects or bugs found
• Perform functional regression and exploratory testing on software applications
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues
• Participate in the design and development of test plans and strategies
• Document test results and provide recommendations for improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Familiarity with programming languages eg Java C++
• Good communication skills both written and verbal

• Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Knowledge of automation testing tools eg Selenium
