Job Description:The Application Delivery Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and integrations within a Calypso trading and risk management environment. This role will focus on building scalable Java-based solutions, integrating financial systems, and supporting cloud and Dev Sec Ops initiatives.
This position will work across application development, system integration, cloud deployment, and production support. Responsibilities include customizing Calypso modules, developing REST APIs and microservices, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience, deep knowledge of financial systems and risk platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of software and application development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Calypso development experience
- Strong experience with the Calypso API
- Experience building Java REST APIs and microservices
- Strong knowledge of application servers and software development life cycles
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data modeling
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Terraform, or similar
- Experience supporting enterprise applications using Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL processes
- Strong understanding of FX products and market risk, and credit risk (heavy in Trading Systems and FX platforms.)
