We are a fast-growing game development company based in Los Angeles seeking a skilled and creative Game Developer to join our team As a Game Developer you will be responsible for designing coding and modifying games for various platforms including mobile console and PC Your primary focus will be on creating engaging and immersive gameplay experiences that will keep players coming back for more
Responsibilities- Collaborate with other team members to design game concepts and mechanics
- Write efficient and well-documented code in C++ or other programming languages
- Implement game features such as user interface gameplay logic and AI behaviors
- Test and debug code to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Optimize games for performance on different platforms
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in game development techniques
- Continuously improve upon existing games based on player feedback
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Game Developer with at least one published game title
- Proficiency in C++ or other programming languages commonly used in game development
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with 2D3D graphics software such as Photoshop or Maya
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience developing games for multiple platforms mobile console PC
- Knowledge of multiplayer networking protocols such as UDPTCP
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Salary $1400 per month negotiable based on experience
