Summary
The Manager of College will play a key role in supporting the growth, operations, and execution of One Team’s college group licensing business, the largest NIL licensing program in collegiate sports. This position manages essential day-to-day functions across program execution, roster management, technology enablement, and partner communication. It demands a true dual skillset: thriving in hands‑on, detail‑oriented operational work while also excelling in external partnership management.
Working cross‑functionally with teams across Licensing, Legal, Technology, and Business Operations, this role will ensure accuracy, consistency, and high performance across all aspects of the college program. With more than 20,000 college athletes currently part of One Team’s group licensing program, including partnerships with EA Sports College Football and Fanatics, this is a dynamic, hands‑on opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about empowering college athletes.
- Own day-to-day operational processes for the college licensing program, including roster updates, athlete onboarding, data management, and program execution across high‑volume workflows.
- Maintain and update core systems (e.g, COMPASS and DLH) while ensuring data integrity for athlete, school, and licensee information; dig into discrepancies, transfers, eligibility changes, and syncing issues.
- Track key deliverables and timelines for product launches and promotional activity; ensure cross‑functional teams and schools are aligned on timing and requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for university/school partners, responding promptly to inquiries on roster management, payments, athlete performance, program participation, and overall satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and decks outlining program benefits, athlete opt‑in/performance metrics, revenue distributions, and success stories to strengthen school relationships and drive continued engagement.
- Conduct proactive outreach to schools, agencies, and high‑impact athletes to support quality‑of‑rights expansion, onboarding, and program growth.
- Act as operational support and liaison between One Team and key technology platforms to support the College NIL program.
- Troubleshoot issues related to athlete/school access, roster syncing, and product approvals in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of the college NIL technology platform, including process documentation and partner training.
- Partner with internal teams (Legal, Licensing, Finance, Business Operations, and Sponsorship) to support smooth execution of agreements and product activations.
