Job Title
Sport Clubs Coach III (Salsa Libre Dance Coach - Lead) is responsible for the coaching of the assigned Salsa Libre Dance Team(s).
Duties- Coordinating practices and routines; assisting at competitions.
- Teaching a wide array of participants from beginners to experienced competitive dancers.
- Instructing fundamentals and advanced technique.
- Assisting club leadership with short‑ and long‑term goals and annual action plan.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the department, division, and university.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum demonstrated intercollegiate or professional competition experience and/or professional coaching experience;
High School Graduate/GED required. - Effective communication with a diverse student population.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and coaching skills at the collegiate club level.
Hourly wage commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. Seasonal, hourly, part‑time position typically from September through May. Travel may be required for some competitions. Practices once a week September through May, with 1-4 competitions during the season (mainly in Southern California).
Typical schedule:
2–4 hours weekly when classes are in session, sometimes more depending on the competition season.
Position and Expected hiring range: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour.
