• Safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided tractor trailer, straight, or box truck.
• Load, unload, deliver, and return compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies.
• Maintain courteous & professional relationships with customers.
• Make deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely strap and unstrap cylinders.
• Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; emphasize the physical nature of this position being labor intensive.
• Drivers will frequently exit their vehicle.

A day in the life of Airgas driver

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at‑fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years.
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or provide proof of certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years.
• Hazmat REQUIRED.

Pay: $30/hr depending on experience, monthly bonus opportunity. Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional weekend. Referral bonus: $1000. Fantastic position for those wanting a perfect work‑life balance.
