Job Summary
The purpose of the Supervisor of Airport Services is to help enable our Airport Services Concierge to provide an unparalleled customer experience for our JSX passengers through efficient, uniformed and consistent service.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain an environment where the Airport Services Concierge team can thrive.
- Maintain a working knowledge of systems, products, and policies to assist the Concierge team.
- Ensure accurate time‑card reporting of the Airport Services team.
- Oversee scheduling to provide lean, efficient coverage (Schedule Ninja).
- Act as Team Captain, resolving issues with the Director and correcting errors made by concierges.
- Provide tools and support so the concierge team works efficiently, delivering a flawless customer experience.
- Create avenues for the concierge team to generate joyful customer experiences.
- Develop and foster growth of the Concierge team.
- Assist with the expansion of the ASC team, hiring world‑class crew and refining the hiring process.
- Serve as the go‑to resource for questions, concerns, and assistance from other departments.
- Work with the Station's Controller and FBO partners to coordinate aircraft movements.
- Marshal and direct aircraft to/from gate(s) or other designated areas.
- Load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and other cargo between flights.
- Assist in cleaning customer lounges and aircraft cabins between flights.
- Stock aircraft with needed supplies and prepare stock for inbound/outbound aircraft.
- Safely operate equipment required to move luggage/cargo and tow planes.
- High school degree.
- 2 years of airport operations experience.
- 4 years of interacting with customers and delivering services face‑to‑face.
- Valid driver’s license for operating ground support equipment.
- Ability to remain calm and collected in stressful situations.
- Decision‑making that reflects safety and integrity of the organization.
- Positive attitude and ability to meet negative with positive responses.
- Strong prioritization and task execution skills.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Google business solutions.
- Ability to travel often.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform intermittent physical activity (bending, reaching, lifting, standing).
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Will participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines.
- U.S. citizen or U.S. national to meet federal aviation security requirements.
- College degree.
- 4 years of airport operations experience.
$22.80 - $28.00 per hour.
